{"id":104,"date":"2011-04-18T12:20:33","date_gmt":"2011-04-18T19:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.b2b-bl.com\/?p=104"},"modified":"2011-04-18T12:20:33","modified_gmt":"2011-04-18T19:20:33","slug":"qualified-technology-prospects-b2b-spam-from-target-tech-net-data-champions-spam-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.b2b-bl.com\/?p=104","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Qualified Technology Prospects:&#8221; B2B spam from target-tech.net (Data Champions spam group)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Qualified Technology Prospects&#8221; is the subject line of some recent B2B spam selling email addresses from domains run by the shady India-based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spamhaus.org\/rokso\/listing.lasso?file=1082\">Data Champions \/ Sloan Marketing<\/a> group.<\/p>\n<p>Some spam from a so-called Linda Eve of &#8220;Target tech&#8221; in Irving, Texas bears the &#8220;Qualified Technology Prospects&#8221; subject line.<\/p>\n<p>Their <code>target-tech.net<\/code> domain name was just registered this month, and it doesn&#8217;t have a web site.<\/p>\n<p>The spam was sent from an anonymous domain (<code>vmix01.com<\/code>) hosted at <code>bodhost.com<\/code>, like a number of Data Champions domains.<\/p>\n<p>The mailing address is apparently a Regus mail drop.<\/p>\n<p>Other Data Champions spam domains we&#8217;re seeing these days with &#8220;tech&#8221; and &#8220;IT&#8221; in them include <code>tech-contacts.com, techleads.net, intersoftech.com, technetauto.com, itlistsearch.com,<\/code> and <code>globalitsearch.com<\/code>.<\/p>\n<p>Subject lines in Data Champions spam containing &#8220;tech&#8221; are very common:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updated Technology Users Lists<\/li>\n<li>Specific Technology Users data<\/li>\n<li>ERP, CRM and Other Technology Lists<\/li>\n<li>Technology Leads<\/li>\n<li>Technology Email Lists and Email Appending<\/li>\n<li>Technology users and buyers list updates<\/li>\n<li>Updated Technology Contacts<\/li>\n<li>Technology Client Lists<\/li>\n<li>Buy the future of your business through Technology List Acquisition<\/li>\n<li>Permission Based Tech Users List<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Qualified Technology Prospects&#8221; is the subject line of some recent B2B spam selling email addresses from domains run by the shady India-based Data Champions \/ Sloan Marketing group.
