The list of domains, usually anonymous, that appear in B2B spam sent by the India-based Data Champions<\/a> and similar scam groups selling email addresses is always growing.<\/p>\n

A few recent samples include:<\/p>\n

* b2bbusinessinfo.com<\/strong>
\nRegistered to a party in India, this domain (new this year) sometimes sends spam from an anonymous mail server called internetworldwide.in<\/code> [209.160.33.22<\/code>]. A so-called “Debra Smith” from India (debra.smith@b2bbusinessinfo.com<\/code>) writes in her email entitled “Requesting a 15 Minute Conference Call:”<\/p>\n

Hi,
\nMy name is Debra Smith and I am with the online marketing division I came across your company website and found that we have a potential customer list who might be interested in your products or services. We are a list compiler and a dominant player in the Business List Industry with over 22 Million B2B contacts across North America and 10 Million of B2B contacts for Europe, Asia, Middle East and Australia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Many Data Champions spams include the claim that, “We are dominant player in Business List Industry.”<\/p>\n

Debra Smith from India signs her email as “Online Marketing Executive” (no company name) and uses this phone number: 646 462 4181. Debra Smith from India “regret[s] if I have intruded your privacy. We respect your privacy. If you want to stop receiving emails from us, please send a reply with the email subject line as “Leave out”.”<\/p>\n

* business-mails.info<\/strong>
\nBusiness-mails.info<\/code> has no web site and has anonymous domain registration.<\/p>\n

B2B spam entitled “Missing contact details” is signed by a so-called Sophia Philips (sophiap@business-mails.info<\/code>). The spam may be sent from a Data Champions anonymous spam server called ap1host.com [174.141.226.217]<\/code> and hosted at bodhost.com<\/code>, like several other Data Champions domains.<\/p>\n

Missing information can be anything such as company name, Contact name, Phone number, Fax number, Physical address, SIC code, Employee size, email address and more..<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“Sophia Philips” from India has no company name and no telephone number. She simply signs her spam as “Marketing Manager.”<\/p>\n

* newgenlists.com<\/strong>
\nNewgenlists.com<\/code> is a new anonymous domain registered a couple of weeks ago. It has no web site. Nonetheless, “Lori Brown” from India lbrown@newgenlists.com<\/code> is sending spam from that domain (a webhostingpad.com<\/code> server [204.93.163.99<\/code>]). Subject line: “Decision Makers Industry Professionals.”<\/p>\n
