InfoAcquisition.com is a new Data Champions B2B scam / spam domain selling email addresses. It still has no web site, and the domain name was just recently registered (to a bogus party: “disney capper”).

InfoAcquisition.com spam we’ve seen has been signed by bogus names like “Betty Cooper,” “Sharon Nelson,” and “Donna Nelson.” Betty, Sharon and Donna have no address or phone number and no company name (except for “Info Acquisition” or “Technology Database Management Company”)

InfoAcquisition.com spam we’ve seen has been mailed from the Data Champions mxservihost.net spam server, hosted at softlayer.com at 50.97.182.174. mxservihost.net spam has also been mailed from 64.186.148.169 on the vpsland.com network.

Subject lines of InfoAcquisition.com spam might resemble “Technology email lists,” “Red Hat Users List,” or “Microsoft Product Users Email List.”

Another anonymous B2B spam domain selling email addresses in the India-based Data Champions group is itcapture.com.

Itcapture.com has no web site and was registered just recently to a so-called “Bill Miller,” using a Regus virtual-offices-for-rent address in Ohio (545 Metro Place South, One Metro Place, Dublin, OH 43017) and a bogus fax number (5555555555).

They like inventing people with the name “Miller.”

Specifically, you may have seen spam signed by “Lauren Paige” (laurenp@itcapture.com), Business Development Executive, ITCAP, Inc. “Lauren” of course has no address and no phone number and no web site.

Mxservihost.net spam server
Some itcapture.com spam is being sent from the Data Champions anonymous spam server called mxservihost.net (hosted at 209.217.247.175 this week).

We’ve recently seen Data Champions spam signed scottj@authenticlists-online.com for the first time in a while.

Like the signatures on so many Data Champions spam/scam mails, “Scott Jones” here claims to be a “Business Development Manager.” You may also see alternate domain names such as aulistsonline.com, authenticlistsonline.com or theauthenticlists.com.

The street address on the Authentic Lists web site, 1013 Catamaran St, Foster City, CA 94404, is in a residential area of apartment blocks.

Spam signed Ralph.Miller@databuilder.biz
We’ve also seen Data Champions spam from Ralph.Miller@databuilder.biz (Business Development Manager, ROI Marketing Center) for the first time in a while.

They like inventing people with the name “Miller.”

The lastest databuilder.biz spam was mailed from their glazingm.com [174.133.189.239] anonymous spam server. Previous databuilder.biz spams have been sent from other spam servers of theirs, such as expurgatemail.com [174.123.147.216] and marketviaemail.net [174.141.87.149].

This year, the “Ralph Miller” signature says he works for ROI Marketing Center, whereas last year’s spam said he works for a different Data Champions fake company: EDG Online Biz Solutions

The Data Champions spammers have gone so far as to invent entries on Linked In for its many identities. “Ralph Miller” here commented on a LinkedIn discussion concerning B2B lead generation at http://www.linkedin.com/answers/marketing-sales/sales/lead-generation/MAR_SLS_LGN/402976-28606269.

“Ralph”‘s signature on those comments shows him as part of ListOrbit and netsaleslists.com (do a few Google searches on these).

Some spam selling email address lists today from the India-based Data Champions spam / scam group is signed by a so-called “Cynthia Norman,” using a ebusiness_segment@live.com return address.

Support for these spams is provided by interactive.com (the service hosting the links in the spam, such as http://links.interactive.com/web04/…) and echomailer1.com (the email sending server at [206.83.72.36]).

They’ve used this support from interactive.com and echomailer1.com for previous spams sent this earlier this fall, signed “Dorothy Craz” (dorothy4leads@hotmail.com, Qualified Leads Consultant, Qualified Lead Generation) and “Cathy Krystal” (cathy@krystallistonline.com, Email list Consultant, Krystal List Online)

“Cynthia” has no company name, address or phone number (typical of many Data Champions spam).

These spams may have a subject line of “Generate prospects by acquiring email list,” “Generate Qualified Leads through Email lists,” or “Customer – Email lists drive sales.”

Toptechleads.com is one of the newer spam domains in use by the India-based Data Champions B2B spam / scam group selling email addresses. Registered just last month, it is hosted at Hostdime.com, even though it has no web site, which is often the case with these spam/scam sites selling email data.

The new toptechleads.com is in addition to their two very similar-sounding spam domains: itechleads.com and techleads.net.

Of course, the Data Champions group has more similar spam domains, such as: itleadz.com, globalbizleads.com, biz-lead.com, firstleadz.com, acquleads.com, ripenleads.com, futureleads.net, sourceleads.net, ready4leads.net, hourlyacquiredleads.com, leadslist.us, optinb2bleads.com, and so many more!

Some Toptechleads.com spam has a subject line common in B2B spam from this group: “Technology Users List.” You may have previously received spam from a so-called “Amy Adkins” (amy.adkins@dbchannels.info) or “Kathy Meyer” (kathy.meyer@p-dmails.com) with this same subject line. “Amy” and “Kathy” may sign their spam as “Online Data Specialist” or “Technology List Specialist.”

The latest one we’ve seen is signed by a so-called “Anna Moore” (anna.moore@toptechleads.com). Like the others above, she has no address, no phone number and no company name. “She” just signs herself as “Marketing Analyst.”

The latest toptechleads.com spam we’ve seen was mailed from mxservihost.net [209.217.247.175], hosted at vpsland.com.

The previous “Technology Users List” spams mentioned above were sent from Data Champions spam servers hosted at bodhost.com/softlayer.com: hostedmailsend.com [174.141.226.241] and 101mailx.com [174.141.226.215]. Note that 101mailx.com is for sale and no longer registered, and that hostedmailsend.com is not presently on the softlayer.com network.

Clickforlead.com / Esec-server.net spam
We continue to see spam selling addresses from carlos.peterson@clickforlead.com. This spam is still being mailed from their new esec-server.net [96.43.138.243] spam server hosted at joesdatacenter.com.

Esec-server.net has also been used to send Data Champions spam signed olivia.rogers@globalbizleads.com.

Bmailsonline.com / glazingm.com spam
Spam from their bmailsonline.com spam domain is back, with some it signed by a so-called trisha.olivia@bmailsonline.com. Of course, “Trisha” has no address or phone number, and her spam is just signed “Trisha Olivia, Marketing Executive / Lists Division, To remove from this mailing: reply with subject line as “Leave out”.”

This bmailsonline.com spam (subject: “Reach customer through multichannel marketing”) was sent from the Data Champions spam server called glazingm.com [174.133.189.239], hosted at theplanet.com.

Some previous bmailsonline.com spam was signed “Daphne Ray” (daphne.ray@bmailsonline.com) and “Eva Carter” (eva.carter@bmailsonline.com), and mailed from anonymous Data Champions spam servers on softlayer.com / bodhost.com called serveridream.com [174.141.226.242] and mailexserver.com [174.141.224.234].

We’ve been seeing regular spam from Link It Call Centers / Link It Software Corporation / Link It Business Solutions (http://linkitcallcenter.com).

A Google search shows they’ve been using phone calls too, not just spam: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-605-413-4472 and http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-818-574-3970.

This B2B spam was sent from esec-server.net [96.43.138.243], which is a brand-new anonymous spam-server domain, registered just over a week ago. The typically bogus registration data of this Data Champions spam-server domain claims that the domain is owned by a “Chris Engle” in Vietnam: fax +1.5555555555; phone +1.84838236286; email chris-engle92@hotmail.com.

At least two other domain Data Champions spam domains are also registered to this same “Chris Engle.” Those B2B spam domains selling email addresses are: gmsol.com and dsrelay.com, and we’ve mentioned them before here.

Something different from the usual B2B spam that you might be seeing these days are occasional probing messages.

These probe mails seem to have the purpose of checking whether addresses are deliverable or not. These messages are whimsical health-related messages, require no response and provide no contact information.

Sample subject lines:

• “Data about maintaining fitness.”
• “Data regarding staying fit.”
• “Key info in regard to staying healthy.”

Sample probe message:

Just a one-time public service communication about Psoriasis (no further
emails will be sent).

Psoriasis is a chronic, noncontagious immune condition that affects 5% of
the US population. The most common form of Psoriasis is plaque psoriasis
which can appear on most any part of the body but typically shows up on
knees, shins, elbows and lower back. Typical symptoms are red, itchy
patches or spots, raised bumps, or silvery scales and can often be
misdiagnoses as eczema. Keep well.

Another sample probe message:

A quick one time public service broadcast about Diabetes (no further
emails will be sent).

Nearly 26 million Americans suffer from diabetes, and 7 million are
unaware that they’re afflicted. Of that total, the more-preventable type
2 diabetes accounts for 90 to 95 percent of all cases. Take steps to
prevent diabetes from progressing: Peel off the pounds, focus on fiber,
exercise, eat three square meals, and get heart healthy. Thanks so much.

A few of the domain names, mostly anonymous, being used in these emails include:

A couple of the domain names used are registered to Atlanta’s Abernathy Road/Northpark B2B spammers. That group sends unsolicited targeted email to business email addresses, often selling memberships to their B2B events (many of which are “event summits”).

If the domain name ends in “…summit.org,” “…summit.net,” or “…summit.com,” there’s a chance it came from Atlanta. Examples:
